C.M. (Kate) Faulkner graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of British Columbia with a double major in Creative Writing and English Literature in 2000. She has worked as a representative for publishing houses, an editor, a retail book clerk and as the national restock buyer for a major Canadian retail chain over a decade long career in literature. Since 2005, she has owned her own business.
Her work has appeared, under a different name, in publications as diverse as Vancouver Review, subTerrain, the Advocate, and the Globe and Mail.
Kate likes ocean swimming, New York and Berlin, Maine Coon cats, writing, and dinners with friends.
